Air Jordan 32 Low “Be Like Mike” Releases December 16th Together with Three Other Pairs

The best, most iconic and most influential ad ever could possibly be the “Be Like Mike” ad that was released back in 1991. The person behind this masterpiece is Michael Jordan, who had just ended his partnership Coca Cola and was about to introduce the world to sports drink. The sports drink company was Gatorade and have this year worked together with  Nike and Michael Jordan to release four shoes in memory of  the sensational ad that was first aired 26 years ago on a fat TV.

I have already written a post about one of the shoes that are releasing the same date as the 32 lows which you can read more about here.

However is the shoe I’ll be talking most about here the Air Jordan 32. The shoe has a rubber sole it looks like with a light red color at the heel that fades away the closer you get to the toes. The outsole also has a MIKE text on it in green with a Gatorade flash in orange representing the I. The midsole is black and has a green Jordan logo left of the heel. The main part of the shoe is white but on the upper most part of the heel there is an orange and black “stair case”. The edge of the shoe is in black and the inner part of the shoe is in orange. Besides the logo at the heel and on the outsole, we can find two more logos. One is an old school Air Jordan logo in green and orange at the tongue of the shoe. The second and last logo can be found inside the shoe. It is another flash with the same color as the other one, in orange.

This shoe according to me looks very nice. I like the combination of green, white and orange colors. This might be a cop for me since they’ll only cost $165, $25 cheaper then  the other shoe that will be released.

There is also announced to be two more shoes in this collaboration, one set of Air Jordan 1 in a typical blue Gatorade color and the other set is a Air Jordan 6 in full green suede color. The AJ 1 will cost $175 and will most likely be released December 16th. The AJ 6 will cost $225 and will release December 16th.

Let me know which one you like the best!

The Billionaire Boys Club x Adidas NMD Human Race Trail Cotton Candy is Also Being Released on Saturady

Not only will four new exclusive Human Race shoes by Pharrell and Adidas be released on Saturday, but also an exclusive BBC (Billionaire Boys Club) shoe be released with similar style as the others. The shoe features the BOOST technology just like the others as a standard. The retail price is $220.

The shoe has a pink and light blue primeknit and has therefore got the name “Cotton Candy”. The primeknit also has some gray in it and more can be seen at the laces and at the EVA system as well as the leather heel. The William Pharrell logo can be found on the left shoe and the Adidas logo on the right. The shoe also has traditional text messages, one on the right shoe that reads “CUEPRO”and then “TERRE” on the left. The first text means body in Spanish and the other one means earth.

I think these looks really cool, what about you?

Vans x The North Face

Here is the Vans x The North Face collection which according to me looks awesome, I love the combination with red and black. Everything looks like it is supposed to belong their, for example the logo on the jacket. Instead of doing a separate logo for each brand they’ve combined the logos and made it just one.

The Vans  x The North Face Torrey MTE Jacket is made from 100% polyester. And as they say in their own words it features:

the revolutionary, ultralight, and highly compressible synthetic ThermoBallTM insulation developed in partnership with PrimaLoft to keep you warmer in cold, wet weather

The jacket costs $197.50 and is available from Small to X Large. It is also available in just black color, check out Vans online store for more information

Here is the Vans x The North Face SK8-HI 46 MTE DX, just like the jacket it is available in red and black and just in black. I really like how the did the logo here, they’ve kept the bottom of the regular Vans and made two separate logos since the Vans logo is on the bottom of the shoe. Then they’ve also put the North Face logo just above it so you can clearly see that it is a collab. Their is also a second Vans logo just above the wrist and almost at the top of the shoe (You can see it at the left shoe of the picture).

Here are the comments by Vans:

Vans The Sk8-Hi 46 MTE DX revamps the legendary Vans high top with additions designed for the elements. Deluxe weather-resistant leather and synthetic uppers, warm linings, and a heat retention layer between sockliner and outsole keep feet warm and dry while the newly-constructed vulcanized lug outsole takes advantage of 20 years of snow boot history for maximum traction.

Vans The Sk8-Hi 46 MTE DX also features UltraCush insoles for long-lasting comfort, re-enforced toecaps to withstand repeated wear, padded collars for support and flexibility, and MTE 360° technology to provide localized thermal insulation with enhanced airflow around the toes.

The shoes cost exactly $100 and is available in sizes 3.5 to 13.0 men and 5.0 to 14.5 for women. Check out the Vans online store for more information.
